Ron Harvey’s keen understanding of the fire protection and life safety industry is the result of a well-rounded 25 year career with large publicly traded companies as well as with regional service providers.
Ron began his career in 1983 as an installation apprentice before advancing into engineering. In 1989, Ron joined SimplexGrinnell, where he worked for 16 years as a project engineer, engineering manager, service sales, total service manager, district manager and regional manager.
Between 1997 and 2004, Ron was a highly decorated SimplexGrinnell employee, earning ten President’s Awards and five Chairman’s Awards.
Ron joined Irvine, California-based Consolidated Fire Protection, LLC in 2005 and was instrumental in the company’s growth. Following Minimax’s acquisition of CFP in 2007, Ron is responsible for establishing the Minimax brand throughout the Americas.
When not working to build the Minimax brand, Ron can be found riding his bike throughout Northern California, running the trails of the Bay Area and/or completing marathons and triathlons.
